About Us

We are the A.A. General Service Committee of Eastern MA

An area is a geographical division within a state or province. A General Service Conference Delegate comes from an Area. In Massachusetts, there are two areas —  Eastern Mass. Area (Area 30) and Western Mass. Area (Area 31).

Our Third Legacy

Get involved in service!

A.A. members work together to help the alcoholic who still suffers. Helping each other is a key to staying sober. There are many opportunities to participate in a variety of ways. The best place to start getting involved is through an A.A. group. Participating in a group helps ensure that when a person reaches out for help, A.A. will be available.

Communication and experience are shared through regular meetings of these groups. A.A. uses service committees to focus their outreach efforts on a specific area. Corrections, Cooperation with the Professional Community, Literature, Accessibility, Treatment, Public Information and Archives are ways to get involved.
